The Tight-Wad Technician

When beekeepers go looking through the websites and the catalogs at all the cool equipment that is available, we can, regardless of age or IQ, become once again like kids in a candy store. Then we see the prices. Reality hits home and our checkbooks scream for mercy.

Whether you are new to beekeeping or a 30 year veteran, saving money any chance you get is an everyday objective. Many folks find themselves to be pretty good with tools in their efforts to do it themselves and save a bit.

That's what this section is about. Doing it ourselves. We will list some handy equipment to have and some low cost but effective ways to accomplish those tasks. Don't think of it as cheap, think of it as being practical.

Not all the the ideas here originate with BBE-Tech Apiaries, in fact, most of them don't. When we post something that came from elsewhere, we will do our best to give credit where credit is due. At least point to who we got it from. If they ripped it off, we apologize and feel free to let us know whose idea it really is.
